The Bluffs Dreamy Playroom, Part 1/3 - The Playhouse
The Sopik family spans three generations under one roof, along with 15 grandchildren who regularly visit the home and fill it with their boundless energy. When I undertook the task of designing their playroom, my aim was to craft a space that would appeal to children of all ages while also incorporating elements that parents would appreciate. To complement the home's elevated and sophisticated design, we embraced a modern and whimsical theme. The foundational material of Baltic Birch was accented with warm neutrals and soft woven textures. By incorporating features for climbing, swinging, and hanging, we ensured that all gross-motor skill bases were covered, offering something for every age group to delight in.
Maclean’s Magazine featured this space in their recent Habitat section, which you can read here.
